This class is a continuation of our first accent modification class. This class will continue focusing on additional sounds, developing your existing vocabulary, practicing pronunciation, as well as gaining confidence in speaking English. Lessons will also focus around a particular topic. You will also work in small groups or pairs to practice pronunciation. A $10 material fee is payable to the instructor at the first class.
In this class you will learn the basics of Italian conversation including how to read in Italian and basic grammar. You are going to learn the Italian language from an Italian born teacher with a lot of experience.

Learn the basics of color pencil in this two-session class. Students will learn the basics of colored pencil as they create a beginner level giraffe in class. The project is taught step-by-step. It’s Party Time! We are going to Paint ‘n Party from 6:30-9:00 pm. Everything will be provided for you – painting supplies and snacks! All you need to bring is a non-alcoholic beverage of your choice. Feel free to bring a snack to share. You will paint a lovely holiday lamp post all decorated for Christmas on an 11x14 wrapped canvas. The lamp even has a subtle shimmer for the holidays. Instructor, Donna Roskamp, will teach the project step-by-step as you complete the painting in class. All materials are provided for the $15.00 supply fee payable to the instructor.

The Lim Twins are back! This class is a great workout for anyone interested in improving their fitness and stamina. Have fun learning Japanese Taiko Drumming. This 4-week course will give a solid foundation to the novice Taiko player by introducing basic forms, techniques and rhythms. Drums will be provided and material fee of $10 covers sticks. The class will be led by staff from Novi’s own Great Lakes Taiko Center. No drumming or musical background is necessary to start enjoying this class right away. Children ages 12 and up can sign up with a parent.
